iPhone Board Repair MASTERCLASS details

This amazing event will be conducted in English language with instructors from Fonekong Institute in China and the iPad Rehab team.  Fonekong is widely recognized in China as the premiere iPhone microsoldering and board repair training institute. Fonekong partners Frank Liu and Tao Yuman have worked together training Chinese students for the last 15 years, and have trained most of the individuals that are recognized in the US as "the best" Chinese board repair technicians, such as our friend Wyman Lau of G-Lon in China.  Unlike popular imitators, the dedicated Fonekong research team in China are the ORIGINAL developers of much of the information that the global board repair community uses every day. They are best known for bringing together a consortium of Chinese investigators who combined their expertise to produce the WuXinJi dongle. Absolutely amazing stuff.

Until recently, Fonekong and iPad Rehab were complete strangers to each other.  I want to thank Ishak Karasu (from my own hometown in Maryland) for helping us to forge this important relationship to bring together the East and West microsoldering communities to continue to advance our field.

Fonekong and iPad Rehab have been working together furiously for the last month to create a one-of-a-kind English language East Meets West 8 day event---The MasterClass.   The MasterClass is for advanced microsolderers only.

This is your chance to train with experienced Chinese instructors, in English, without leaving the United States, and network with your favorite personalities in board repair.

You must have competency reballing small ics and understanding basic multimeter function. If you do not have this competency, attend a Practical Board Repair School Session before registering for MasterClass.  PBRS alumni are automatically eligible for the MasterClass--and WELCOME HOME to iPad Rehab. We can't wait to see you! Others signing up may be asked to show proof of core competency via social media.

What to Expect:

The format will be a hybrid between a conference/traditional course with industry networking events, daily hotel happy hour, lecture instruction and plenty of hands on laboratory time.  This advanced course will be taught Chinese-style with 30+ students in a split lecture/lab format. In iPad Rehab style--it will be one heck of a party. Who will go up against Mark Shaffer for the board repair Olympics trace repair event?

You can see examples of Fonekong travel courses all over the world on YouTube.   Spouses and children are welcome to travel with you, the entire course will take place at a newly renovated hotel conference center with an indoor pool and on-site dining options.  The Fingerlakes region is beautiful in May with local wineries, Niagara Falls (90 minutes away) and Rochester-area museums, history, and hiking for families. The iPad Rehab mothership is a short 15 minute drive in Honeoye Falls.
